Comprehensive Water Treatment System Installation for Mrs. Rosenbaum in Dickinson, Texas

At Mrs. Rosenbaum’s home in Dickinson, Texas, we were called upon to address multiple water quality issues. She had been dealing with hard water and an unpleasant city water smell, and was concerned about the long-term effects on her appliances. Mrs. Rosenbaum wanted a complete solution that would not only improve the taste and quality of her water but also protect her home and extend the lifespan of her appliances.

Addressing the Water Quality Issues

Mrs. Rosenbaum’s primary concerns were hard water buildup and the distinct odor coming from her tap water. Hard water contains high levels of calcium and magnesium, which can cause scale buildup in plumbing and appliances, leading to costly repairs and inefficient operation. The chlorine and other contaminants from the city water supply were also affecting the water’s taste and smell, and Mrs. Rosenbaum wanted a cleaner, safer option for her household.

To address these concerns, we designed a customized water treatment system that included:

  1. 48,000 Grain CLACK Water Softener: This high-capacity water softener is designed to remove hardness minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, that lead to scale buildup. The 48,000 grain CLACK system is ideal for handling the hard water in Dickinson and provides softened water throughout the home. With this system, Mrs. Rosenbaum will experience softer skin and hair, as well as longer-lasting appliances and plumbing.
  2. 1.5 Cubic Foot Catalytic Carbon Unit with Cubulation-K5: To address the city water’s unpleasant odor and taste, we installed a 1.5 cubic foot catalytic carbon conditioning unit enhanced with Cubulation-K5. The catalytic carbon effectively removes chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other contaminants. The addition of Cubulation-K5 media enhances the system’s ability to reduce heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and hydrogen sulfide, which are often responsible for the metallic taste and rotten-egg odor in water. This unit ensures clean, fresh-smelling water throughout the home.
  3. 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis System: For optimal drinking water purity, we installed a state-of-the-art 4-stage reverse osmosis (RO) system. The RO system not only removes a wide range of contaminants, including dissolved solids, bacteria, and chemicals, but also ensures safe and great-tasting drinking water. To add an extra layer of protection, we included a leak detector, leak tray, pressure regulator, and spill-resistant cartridges. Moreover, the system features a multi-point leak detection system that can monitor up to three locations in the home, providing additional peace of mind.

Overcoming Installation Challenges

The installation for Mrs. Rosenbaum was more complex than usual due to the need to tie into the main water line, which was located in the attic. This presented some logistical challenges, but with our team’s expertise and experience, we were able to complete the installation smoothly and efficiently.

Working in tight spaces such as attics requires precision, skill, and careful planning, but our team is well-versed in handling such situations. We ensured that all connections were secure, leak-free, and met the highest safety standards. Despite the difficulty, we were able to finish the job on time, leaving Mrs. Rosenbaum with a perfectly functioning water system and no disruptions to her daily routine.

The Result: A Satisfied Homeowner with Clean, Soft Water

Mrs. Rosenbaum was extremely happy with the outcome. Her concerns about her appliances being damaged by hard water have been alleviated, and she can now enjoy soft, clean water throughout her home. The chlorine smell is gone, and the water from her taps tastes fresh and pure.

In addition to the immediate benefits of cleaner water, Mrs. Rosenbaum’s home and appliances are now protected from the damaging effects of hard water. She can expect less wear and tear on her plumbing, water heater, and appliances, and reduced maintenance costs over time.
